te Pā wins Māori Excellence in Export award at NZIBA

Team te Pā is celebrating a milestone win, after taking home the award for Tōnui Māori Excellence in Export at the New Zealand International Business Awards.

This is a huge honour for our entire team, and in particular for founder and owner Haysley MacDonald and partner Julie Taylor. Haysley accepted the award on Thursday 27th November at the awards ceremony in Tamaki Makaurau Auckland.

te Pā Family Vineyards is a Māori-owned, Marlborough-based wine producer with an award-winning wine portfolio. The company has helped elevate the profile of Māori wine producers on the global stage.

Judges commended te Pā for its success in growing an export business in a competitive sector, and uplifting kotahitanga on the international stage. Judges also loved how its connection to te ao Māori was integrated through the organisation and the community.
